The fugu fish (blowfish) is a Japanese delicacy and is only served in the finest restaurants. You should only be willing to try it out if you know it has been prepared by a licenced fugu chef. During preparation, certain parts of the fish must be removed as they are highly toxic and can cause death. The ovaries are the most poisonous part, followed by the liver and intestines. The poison is 1,200 times more deadly than cyanide and one fish contains enough poison to kill 30 people!
